Lauren J. Woo, Ph.D.

My research combines my interests in preparation for online teaching and creative education. I have examined the impact of recent technological changes, with a focus on the ongoing integration of online education and generative artificial intelligence tools. The following overarching questions have guided my research:

How have gaps in preparation for online teaching impacted educational stakeholders? What types of efforts have teacher education programs made to address these gaps?
How can teacher education programs creatively build on their efforts to address gaps in preparation for online teaching and to prepare for larger technological changes?
